COMPLEX LIMB
RECONSTRUCTION

New Techniques & Technology

Managing bone loss, non-healing fractures and deformity conditions are common problems for Mr Guryel to solve and he provides a tertiary referral service.

These cases were traditionally managed using an external circular frame around the limb. Despite their reliability, they are plagued by problems such as pain, infections, stiffness and fractures after the frame is removed.  In addition, the prolonged treatment time and psychological burden that comes with this method significantly affects patients’ quality of life.
